Relation: Grandfather
Poppa was truly one of a kind—his humour, his wild stories, and his big, warm personality made him unforgettable. Whether it was the shark that supposedly took his leg or the plane crash he somehow walked away from, his stories will be told and laughed about for generations.
I feel so grateful to have been by his side in his final moments, and my heart goes out to the entire family. We love you all so much. During this difficult time, one thing I know for sure is that Poppa would have loved seeing how our family has come together. He had a way of bringing people closer, whether it was through laughter, love, or one of his over-the-top stories. And speaking of laughter, I will never forget his deep, booming laugh—it was one of a kind, just like him, and I can still hear it so clearly.
Poppa was an amazing grandfather, and his presence will always be felt in all of us. My dad is the spitting image of him, and now I find myself following in my dad’s footsteps. I’ve never been prouder to carry the Biglow name, and even prouder to hopefully pass it down as the last Biglow to do so.
Emily and I love you all so much, and we’re always just a call away.
