Bruce Earle Fraser

Obituary

Bruce Earle Fraser of Penticton, beloved husband of Barbara Fraser, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on July 24, 2023 at the age of 85 years.

Bruce started his life in Gravenhurst, Ontario, oldest son of Earle and Margaret Fraser. He attended school there until he entered the Air Force at the age of 17. Bruce trained at Cold Lake, Alberta then was shipped out to Germany where he was driving he fuel trucks for the planes and acting as chauffeur to officers. On his return to Canada, he moved to Merritt, BC where he was employed with the ambulance, volunteer firemen, drove school bus, and worked as a tow truck drive. On his retirement, Bruce moved to Penticton where he resided until his passing.

Besides his loving wife Barbara, Bruce is survived by his two daughters Gail (Tim) Ferguson of Trail, BC, Frances (Bill) Hodgson of Havre-Boucher, Nova Scotia; one step-son Anthony Wright of Brooks, Alberta; grandchildren Liam Hodgson, Erik Ferguson, and Lexi Campese; four sisters Sheila, Ruth, Joyce, and Gail all of Ontario; one brother Pete of Gravenhurst, Ontario; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents Earle and Margaret Fraser.
