Obituary
Joy Marlene Janchek of West Kelowna passed away peacefully after a long battle with ovarian cancer on February 19, 2023, at the age of 68.
Joy was an incredibly unique person. She served her community her entire life and brought a smile to everyone who knew her. A dedicated mother she lived for her children. Her warmth, infectious laugh, wit, and dark sense of humor are sorely missed. Her unrelenting generosity, optimism and gratitude were evident up until her last moments alive. In her final hours she wanted to encourage everyone to become an organ donor. The gravity of her loss is immeasurable.
The world needs more Joy.
