Thomas Daniel Ronayne

Obituary
Thomas Daniel Ronayne, 66, died on December 10, 2022 at the Kelowna Hospice.
Tom was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Mollie, and his brother Joe.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved partner Sarah, their son Ryan and daughter Angela, also Tom’s son Graham (Riley) and grandsons Miles and Seth of Maple Ridge, his daughter Reanna (Sean) and granddaughter Sylvia and grandson Oscar of Kamloops, and his son David of Nanaimo.
Tom is survived by his sisters Clara and Sally, nieces and nephews Kathleen, Brandy, Clifton and William, also grandnephews Luca, Ashton and Owen and grandniece Lilly.
Tom attended elementary and secondary school in Pemberton and after graduation in 1975 went to the Vancouver Vocational Institute and trained as a welder. Tom was a skilled and respected tradesman, designer and metal fabricator. His work took him many places including Halifax, North Vancouver, logging camps on Vancouver Island, Squamish, Pemberton and finally to Kelowna. He made many good friends in his travels.
Thanks to the staff at Kelowna Hospital and especially to the staff at the Kelowna Hospice who took such good care of him.
Donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
A memorial for Tom will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 8th at the Pemberton Museum in Pemberton, BC. All are welcome.
